Welcome to Your New Kitchen: A Fresh Start with Style & Functionality

Moving into a new house is exciting, but let’s face it—setting up the kitchen can feel overwhelming. Recently, I had the pleasure of helping a client organize their brand-new kitchen, turning it into a space that’s not only functional but also a joy to use.

Step 1: Assessing the Space

The first step in organizing a new kitchen is understanding the layout and storage options. For this project, I worked closely with my client to evaluate cabinet space, drawers, pantry shelving, and countertop areas. We discussed their cooking habits and daily routines to create a setup tailored to their needs.

Step 2: Decluttering Before You Start

Before unpacking, we made sure to sort through kitchen items and let go of anything that no longer served them—duplicate utensils, worn-out pans, or appliances they no longer used. Starting fresh is easier when you only keep what you truly love and need.

Step 3: Creating Zones

To make the kitchen functional, I divided it into zones:

  • Cooking Zone: Pots, pans, spices, and utensils stored near the stove.
  • Prep Zone: Knives, cutting boards, and mixing bowls kept close to the counter workspace.
  • Serving Zone: Plates, glasses, and cutlery located near the dining area.
  • Storage Zone: Dry goods, snacks, and pantry items arranged systematically.

Step 4: Choosing the Right Organizing Tools

The right tools make all the difference. For this kitchen, we used:

  • Clear bins for pantry items to maintain visibility.
  • Lazy Susans for spices and condiments.
  • Drawer dividers for utensils.
  • Tiered shelves for easy access to canned goods.

Step 5: Labeling and Final Touches

To ensure everything stayed in place, we added labels to pantry bins and shelves. Labels not only make it easier to find items but also encourage everyone in the household to stick to the system.

A Kitchen That Feels Like Home

The result? A kitchen that’s organized, inviting, and perfectly aligned with my client’s lifestyle. There’s nothing more rewarding than creating a space where everything has its place, and daily tasks feel effortless.

Your Turn!

Are you ready to transform your kitchen into a functional, beautiful space? Whether you’ve just moved or need a refresh, I’d love to help you organize and design a kitchen that works for you.

Aka how to shop with lightning speed and zero drama! Shopping with men is a whole different game—and honestly, one of my favorite challenges. Over the years (and many fitting rooms later), I’ve noticed a few patterns that make men’s shopping sessions fast, funny, and surprisingly rewarding. If you’ve ever wondered what makes a men’s shopping trip successful, here are my top 10 takeaways:

As parents, we want the best for our teenagers—especially when it comes to creating a space where they feel calm, inspired, and empowered. Recently, I had the privilege of working with a 17-year-old girl to transform her room and closet. It was more than just tidying up; it was about redefining her space to reflect her personality and support her growth. Why isn’t this a project to tackle with Mom or Dad? Here’s the thing: our teens see their rooms as an extension of their identity, and working with a neutral, non-judgmental third party creates a safe space to explore what they truly want to keep, let go of, or display. With parents, emotions can get tangled in the process, making it harder to create a space that is truly theirs.

For the past twenty years, I've had the privilege of working with incredible men and women, connecting with thousands of beautiful souls. My love for styling was never rooted in a passion for fashion or trends. Instead, it was always about people! About igniting a new, deeper spark of beauty and self-love within them.

When we moved to the US 12 years ago, it was clear that I had to find a way to maintain my clients in Israel. Two months into settling into a new country, I had already built an online process for my overseas clients. Over the years, the process developed, and clients joined from Europe and across the US. As you already know, I love sharing stories about my clients, so this time, meet Susanna.
